Irrigation Service Tech

 

Service Tech needed for our irrigation department.

Job involves installing, spring start-ups, troubleshooting, repairing and winterizing irrigation systems of commercial and residential irrigation systems in the metro area.

Trouble-shooting leaks and issues, repairs of vacuum breakers, heads, lines, valves, etc. install and maintain pump systems.

We are a reputable company been in business for 35 years.

Hourly between $20-$35 based on experience, reliability, work ethic, and production. The more you bring to the company, the more you get paid!

If you have your PLT license we strongly encourage you to apply.

A company vehicle is provided with this position and may have the option of bringing it home daily depending on distance lived from the shop.

Can start immediately.

Our scheduling technology gives you the option to be directly dispatched from your home every morning with your schedule filled out for the day.

Requirements include:
At least 2 years of experience is required along with good knowledge of the current technologies out there with underground irrigation systems. Must also be good at problem solving on your own.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Be Able to work Mon-Fri 8:00-4:00 PM with some Saturday/overtime expected Able to work 10+ hours a day on occasion
Be organized with materials required for each job
Ability to prioritize on site activities for maximum efficiency
Ability to work with PVC, copper, and poly pipe.
Know how to properly use a toner, locator, and multimeter. Can Train
Knowledge of various controllers, troubleshooting, and programming. Can Train
Be able to communicate with customers as needed
Work in extreme weather conditions: Temperature swings, rain/snow, freezing weather.
